NTA Reaffirms No Paper Leak in NEET 2024 Amidst Controversy

NTA Stands Firm in the Growing Concerns About Paper Leak: 

As concerns about irregularities in the NEET UG exam’s conduct grow among students, the National Testing Agency (NTA) continues to maintain its stance that no paper was leaked during the NEET UG 2024 exam.

NTA’s Clarifications:

The NTA has released a thorough explanation addressing several concerns raised by stakeholders, parents, and aspirants in response to numerous allegations. The NTA has made a point of stressing how committed it is to fairness and transparency in the examination process.

Denial of Paper Leak Allegations:

The NTA rejected allegations of a paper leak, using its prior press releases as proof. It said that the stories did not provide enough evidence to support these allegations. The NTA made it clear that cases seemed to have more to do with impersonation or cheating than with paper leaks, and it strongly objected to any such incidents.

Incident at Sawai Madhopur, Rajasthan:

The NTA acknowledged an incident at an examination center in Sawai Madhopur, Rajasthan, where question papers were mistakenly distributed. Despite attempts to prevent the distribution of incorrect papers. Some candidates managed to obtain and circulate them on social media. however, 

The NTA made sure that the affected candidates received the appropriate question papers and that nothing got in the way of their academic aspirations.

Legal Proceedings and Allegations:

Petitioners have filed multiple petitions with the Supreme Court and various High Courts, alleging irregularities in NEET 2024. Including the arbitrary awarding of grace marks.

The Supreme Court has issued a notice to the NTA, seeking its response on the matter, reflecting the seriousness of the allegations and the need for clarification.

NEET UG 2024 Results and Backlash:

With allegations of paper leak scams arising on social media and claims of a very high number of students receiving perfect marks. The NEET UG results for 2024 created controversy. 

As a result, candidates from several states have protested the alleged irregularities. Calling on authorities to take action through social media and street protests.
