The All India Students Association (AISA) announced plans for a nationwide student strike on June 19–20, 2024.
In response to the results of the NEET UG 2024 exam. AISA leaders and NEET candidates voiced their frustration with the conduct of the exam during a press conference in Delhi, prompting this decision.
Students Demand Accountability and the NEET UG Re-examination:
AISA General Secretary Prasenjeet Kumar and JNUSU President Dhananjay criticized the National Testing Agency (NTA) for alleged mismanagement and corruption. They called for a high-level independent inquiry into the NEET UG 2024 exam and demanded the scrapping of the NTA’s current role.
Plea Filed in Supreme Court Seeks Scrapping of NEET UG 2024 Exam:
The most recent development is that the NEET UG 2024 exam results have been challenged in the Supreme Court. Twenty students filed the case, demanding that the CBI conduct an investigation and alleging irregularities, including question paper leaks. To guarantee justice and fairness for each candidate, the plea also calls for a reexamination.
