Record Breaking NEET 2024 Results:
A record-breaking 67 candidates got a perfect score of 720 on the NEET UG 2024 exam, according to the National Testing Agency’s (NTA) latest announcement of the NEET 2024 results. A total of 14 female and 53 male successful individuals.
These individuals achieved the top ranks in the All India Ranking (AIR), boasting an outstanding highest percentile of 99.997129.

NEET Tie-Breaking Criteria:
When more than one candidate has the same score, NTA uses a NEET tie-breaking method to determine the rankings.
This year’s tie-breaking criteria prioritize the following factors:
- Candidates with higher marks/percentile marks in biology (Botany & Zoology) in the exam are prioritized first.
- Next, candidates with higher marks/percentile marks in chemistry in the exam are given priority.
- Then, candidates with higher marks/percentile marks in physics in the exam are considered.
- Candidate with a lower proportion of the number of attempted incorrect answers and correct answers in all the subjects in the exam.
- Candidate with a lower proportion of attempted incorrect answers and correct answers in Biology (Botany & Zoology) in the exam.
- Followed by candidates with a lower proportion of attempted incorrect answers and correct answers in Chemistry in the exam.
- Followed by candidates with a lower proportion of attempted incorrect answers and correct answers in Physics in the exam.
- Application number in ascending order.
Revised NEET Tie-Breaking Policy:
The NEET tie-breaking policy determines the rankings of candidates who achieve the same score on the NEET UG exam 2024.
While NTA initially introduced a tie-breaking policy involving a lucky draw by computer or IT, it has reverted to the previous method. The revised policy emphasizes the proportion of correct and incorrect answers attempted in all subjects, followed by subject-specific proportions.
