Final Edit Window Now Open for NEET PG 2024:
The National Board of Medical Examinations (NBEMS) has opened the final edit window for the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test-Postgraduate (NEET PG) 2024. Scheduled for June 23, 2024, NEET PG 2024 will take place on a computer-based platform at various test centers across the country.
Pre-Final Edit Window Details:
For NEET PG 2024, the pre-final edit window was open from May 28, 2024, to May 16, 2024. NBEMS found that some applicants still needed to upload their thumb imprints, signatures, or photos following the required Image Upload Instructions after this window had closed. Now, during the final edit session, NBEMS is giving these applicants a chance to correct the mistakes on their application forms.

Final Edit Window Instructions:
Applicants have until June 7, 2024, until June 10, 2024, at 11:55 PM, to make corrections to any incorrect photos, signatures, and/or thumb imprints on their registration application forms. A list of candidates who require these modifications has also been made public by NBEMS.
Possible Reasons for Rejections:
Reasons Photographs Might Be Rejected:
- Photographs older than 3 months.
- There is a lack of light in the room.
- Not using a white/light-coloured background.
- Overexposed/underexposed photos.
- Absence of formal attire while taking photos.
- Objects behind you while capturing the photograph.
- Blurred image; poor image quality.
- Eyes closed/not looking into the camera.
- Eyes are not visible due to glare on spectacles.
- Black and white photographs.
- Uploading a photograph showing it on a mobile phone.
- cropped photograph from a group photo.
- Does not contain the full face, ears, neck, and shoulders of the entrant in frontal view; side pose taken/selfie uploaded.
- Defective hue of the photo.
Possible Rejections for Signatures:
- Blurred signature.
- Signature in capital letters.
- Signature on the ruled page.
- Initials only; not complete signatures.
- Whole pages were scanned and uploaded instead of the box drawn for signatures.
Possible Rejections for Thumb Impressions:
- Pressed too lightly.
- Pressed too hard.
- Too much ink.
- Not enough ink covers the entire fingertip.
- Center loops and/or deltas are not legible.

Important Dates:
After NEET PG 2024 registration closed on May 6, 2024, at 11:55 PM, NBEMS established the pre-final edit window for applicants on May 28, 2024. Applicants must make good use of the final edit box to make sure their applications match all guidelines.
