What is NIRF?
National Institutional Ranking Framework. The Ministry of Education, Government of India, adopted the National Institutional Ranking Framework as a methodology to rank higher education institutions in India. The MHRD approved the framework, and the Minister of Human Resource Development launched it on September 29, 2015.
As the date of May 5, 2024, for the National Eligibility and Entrance Test for Undergraduate Courses (NEET UG) approaches, candidates for medical school are preparing for one of the most difficult tests in India. Numerous students compete each year for a limited number of places at the country’s top medical universities, with NEET serving as the entry point.

Ranking Policy and Preparation:
The National Testing Agency (NTA) will conduct the NEET UG 2024 test in 14 locations worldwide. To learn more about exam locations, click here. Notably, NTA’s prior policy has been restored in place of the previously established computerized draw method for deciding the rank of joint scorers. With this new method, joint scorers will receive ranks according to their performance in physics, chemistry, and biology.
