However, if dissatisfied, they can opt for a free exit, allowing them to skip the seat without penalty and directly participate in Round 2. Candidates satisfied with their allotted seat can also opt for willingness to upgrade after reporting, which gives them the opportunity to be considered for a better seat in Round 2.
For candidates who do not receive a seat in Round 1, there is no need to re-register. They are automatically eligible to participate in Round 2, where they can fill fresh choices.
Documents Required for NEET PG Admission:
Candidates must bring their original documents to the allotted institute when reporting. These include the allotment letter issued by MCC, the NEET PG admit card and the rank letter from NBE.
Proof of date of birth, such as a high school certificate or birth certificate, is also essential. Additionally, candidates must present mark sheets of all MBBS professional exams, an MBBS Degree Certificate or provisional certificate, and an Internship Completion Certificate (or proof of completion by August 15, 2024).
A valid ID proof, such as an Aadhaar card, passport, or voter ID, is mandatory. Category-specific documents like SC/ST, OBC, or EWS certificates are required for candidates applying under reserved categories.
For PwD candidates, a certificate from one of the 16 notified medical boards is necessary. It is important to verify any additional document requirements from the allotted college.
Rules for NEET PG Round 1 Participation:
Candidates allotted a seat in Round 1 have two options. They can either choose a free exit if they are not satisfied with the allotted seat and directly participate in Round 2 without any penalties, or they can opt for willingness to upgrade to a better seat in Round 2.
